If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Morgan is a friendly, snuggly lap cat who loves attention. At 13 years old, he's pretty laid back, but he still has lots of energy and loves to play. When you hold him, he likes to put his paws on your chest and will sometimes pat you on the shoulder or face to ask for attention.
Morgan was adopted as a kitten by my mom, who recently moved to assisted living and is struggling to take care of him. He was adopted with a littermate, his sister, but she passed away in 2020 and he's been a solo cat since then. He would likely do fine with other cats given a slow introduction, but he's also doing fine as an only kitty. He's never been around dogs or small children, but he's pretty chill and not skittish. He's healthy and likes to be brushed.
Morgan is happiest when he can be in your lap or in a sunny window and occasionally chase a toy to get the zoomies out. He's a loving, lovable boy who deserves another chance to be someone's best friend.
