After over 400 days in her foster home, Hen-rieta has earned her title as the resident queen (and gentle enforcer) of all things kitten. At just under 3 years old, this stunning calico beauty may have raised her own babies long ago, but she never retired from mom duty. Now she lovingly grooms, snuggles, and gently supervises every new kitten that passes through—offering baths, comfort, and the occasional polite reminder of “house rules.”
Hen-rieta’s journey started in a large cat colony, where she was trapped just two days before giving birth. Despite her rough beginnings, she’s never had an aggressive bone in her body. Though she’s shy in new environments and won’t be the first to greet you, this girl adores love once she feels safe. Loud purrs, soft rubs, and couch cuddles become her daily love language. She can even be held for short periods and will reward patient adopters with loyal affection.
Hen-rieta’s ideal forever home will give her the gentle transition she needs—starting her off in a small space (like a bathroom or dog crate) to help her feel secure. Once she’s settled, you’ll discover her favorite hobbies: snuggling with her kitty friends, getting gentle pets, and watching endless hours of CatTV from the best seat in the house. In fact, every morning after she finishes breakfast, she hops up in front of the TV and patiently waits for her foster mom to turn on her favorite YouTube Cat Games channel—she doesn’t like to miss her shows!
She’d love to be adopted with one of her foster friends— Foxy Whiskers, Frankie, Gus, or Josh—but she’d also thrive with any calm, friendly resident cat.
