My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Koda is a sweet boy and very loyal dog! He was born on a farm and was the runt. He was a huge resource guarder the first year and is now a little foodie. He is 4 years old and super smart, learning any new tricks you decide to teach him. I take him on a 1-2 mile walk every day. When I am not home, he is besties with my teen and loves hanging out with my husband. Gramma watches him when I am at work.
Koda Loves playing with other dogs, enjoying walks and the dog park and is nice to strangers. He thrives with a schedule and if you are home all day.
I LOVE this dog but feel that I HAVE to put my daughter and husband first. Very often he will guard me as a resource. My husband and daughter feel threatened when he does this. We have to put him in his room or his crate when making dinner or he guards the kitchen. He would be great in a one person home or with an experienced person who loves a dog who can swim in the river and fetch for days. He is pretty amazing.
