Meet Daphne the charming feline with a spirit as independent as her heart is warm. Daphne navigates life with grace despite having moderate cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) or "wobbly cat syndrome". Because Daphne's cerebellum in the brain didn't develop correctly before she was born she now wobbles and needs a few simple adjustments in her forever home. Making sure Daphne can't access stairs and has plenty of rugs and carpet is all she needs. This special girl does prefer a social eating routine that involves patiently waiting for her human to sit and share a meal. Daphne has also mastered the art of finding the perfect nook to hang out and soak in the surroundings. Cubby required! By adopting Daphne you're inviting a cat who knows the importance of finding comfort in the smallest places and cherishing the warmth of a loving home. Daphne's story is not just one of overcoming challenges; it's a celebration of her unique and endearing qualities. We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.

To help ensure that we place our cats in loving, responsible, committed homes, we have a screening process before you can adopt a pet from Kitten Rescue. We reserve the right to turn down potential adopters as we deem necessary. First, we ask that you complete our Adoption Questionnaire at kittenrescue.org/cat-adoption-form/. You can complete the form online or you may stop by a weekly adoption event to complete form in person. Second, a home visit or a home delivery of the cat or kitten is also required as part of our adoption process.

The Kitten Rescue adoption fee is $150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, and $100 for each additional kitten or cat to the same household ($250 if you adopt a pair). Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.

All of our cats have already been:
Spayed or neutered
Vaccinated – with at least one FVRCP vaccination
Treated for fleas
Dewormed
Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)
Microchipped

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
