this stunning guy is an almost 2 year old Belgian Shepherd. He found himself in trouble when his owner surrendered him to a local animal control shelter. Thankfully. we were able to step in and help him.
The previous owner for Thomas claims that he has lived with kids but he was too big for them so he brought him to a shelter. In the shelter, Thomas was very stressed and nervous, not surprising, so he was difficult to handle. Thankfully, our resident Mal expert Bruno was able to make a trip to the shelter to assess him. After taking him out of the kennel, he had no trouble handling him so he brought him to the rescue.
While high energy, he has zero drive for actual work. He had little interest in regular toys, and none in bite toys. Thomas is relying purely on his absolutely stunning, wolf-like looks to be adored by his future family. He wants to be the trophy pet that will get the enjoyed the good, spoiled, active life.
Having said all that, he is looking for an adult only home that is experienced with the breed. While he has lived with kids before, due to the fearful and anxious behavior he has showed in the shelter both at ACCT and our rescue, he will not be placed with children. He will make a great pet for the right person who is looking for a non-working mal.
He would need to meet any resident dogs.
He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested.
