Meet Ziti, a sweet and shy girl who’s ready to find her forever home! Born approximately December 14, 2022, Ziti came to our shelter as a stray with her two adorable kittens. She’s now spayed, fully vetted, and all set to begin a new chapter in her life.
Ziti is still learning to trust humans, so she will need a patient and understanding family who can give her the time and space she needs to flourish. She may not be a lap cat just yet, but with the right environment and some feline companions to guide her, Ziti has the potential to become the beautiful companion we know she can be.
If you have a gentle heart and the patience to help Ziti discover that humans can be loving and kind, she would love to meet you! You can apply online at eastshoreha.org, and once your application is approved, we offer same-day adoptions!
Come visit Ziti during our open viewing hours:
Monday: 12pm – 4pm Friday: 12pm – 5pm Saturday: 10am – 1pm Apply today and let’s show Ziti that humans can be just as wonderful as her new feline friends!

Additional adoption info
Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:
1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.
2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.
Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.
Adoption Requirements:
1. Have verifiable identification
2. Be at least 18 years of age
3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home
4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered
5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier
6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
