Though Squanck is full of energy, he's not all go-go-go. After an active play session, he enjoys curling up on the couch for a cozy nap, recharging for his next adventure. He’s the perfect balance of playfulness and chill, and his charm lies in his ability to switch between these two modes with ease.
Personality:
Squanck is a playful and outgoing dog who loves to make new friends. He’s always eager to greet guests, and he does so with an enthusiastic “Look at my stuffie!” He’s friendly, confident, and enjoys the attention that comes with his bubbly personality. Squanck’s idea of a good time is a combination of fetch, tug-of-war with his stuffie, and learning new tricks—he knows sit, paw, and down and is always up for a little show-off session if there are treats involved!
However, while he's energetic, Squanck isn’t constantly in hyperdrive. After he’s had his fill of fun, he’s just as happy to lounge on the couch next to you, napping peacefully with his beloved stuffie by his side. If you are interested in adopting, please visit the shelter during adoption hours. Be sure to let the front desk know the name of the dog you are interested in visiting. Once you have met with the dog and an application has been approved, we will then ask to complete a meet and greets with any dog(s) that are currently living in the home or visit frequently.
Our adoption hours are as follows:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12pm-5:30pm
Thursday: 2:30pm-5pm
Saturday & Sunday: 12pm-4:30pm
