My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Helloooooo, Facebook Family!! I’m so happy to be here with the ladies of FCCR and so thankful they rescued me from the local shelter. I’m a happening guy and love to be out and about. Do you have a car? I LOVE car rides and I’m the first one to say let’s go!!

My name is Peter and I’m still a youngster and very playful — even goofy sometimes. I’m only 3 years old and a full-tailed, 34 lb black cocker spaniel boy. I am quite handsome, don’t you think? I’m a friendly guy and want to please my humans. I’m very smart … I’m crate-trained…and would love to take some training classes with my peeps. The only thing I am asking for is to be your one and ONLY dog. I have so much love to give…I don’t want to share my humans with anyone else.

Are you ready to open your home and heart to me? Please send the ladies your application through the website: www.floridacockerrescue.org.

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
