My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Brewster and my most favorite person in life died a few weeks ago. Human friends came to my home to help me, and since then I’ve been adjusting to life in a new home with my foster parents. I learned quickly to trust my new human friends, but what I need is a forever home. I am curious, I like to make eye contact when I know someone, and I LOVE to play ball. I get REALLY excited when I’m going to go on a walk, but I know how to sit and to “come back” when told. In the beginning of a walk and when I see other big dogs, I get excited so need someone to teach me to slow down. I’m strong willed but loving and I feel most secure with that special someone around. In my foster home, I live with a senior female dog. I like to show her I’m the boss, but we get along fine. When new people come over to the house I tell them I take care of the house with my big voice but if a welcome visitor I warm up quickly. I would love to find someone that will help me heal emotionally from this change and be my confident teacher to explore the rest of life's journey.

More about this rescue

We are an organization founded to assist owners with missing pets through coaching, field work and humane trapping. This extends to securing street strays who we exit when no owner comes forward. We rehab and evaluate each dog for an appropriate fit for adoption.
