Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bear, a resilient senior dog who’s proving that age is just a number! Found at a highway rest stop and left unclaimed, Bear waited patiently in the shelter for his forever family. When no one came, we couldn’t let him stay there another day- we just knew he deserved better!
Now thriving in his foster home, Bear is embracing his second chance at life with joyful energy. He loves playing with toys, running around, and soaking up all the attention he can get. At 52 pounds, Bear is the perfect size for snuggles and adventures alike.
Bear is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to bring his boundless happiness to a forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who doesn’t let age slow him down, Bear is the one for you!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!
2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.
3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)
4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
