Meet Kenny, a 12-year-old Cockapoo with a heart as big as his sweet, soulful eyes. This gentle senior is friendly with people, kids, and other dogs, and he thrives in a calm, loving environment. Kenny would be happiest with a human (or humans) who are retired or work from home, so he can enjoy plenty of companionship and affection.
Kenny has a heart murmur that we’re monitoring closely, and due to his age and condition, we may opt to leave him unneutered for his health. But don’t let his health concerns deter you- Kenny is full of love and ready to melt your heart. One look into his little old man face, and you’ll fall head over heels for this lost soul who’s searching for his forever home.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!
2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.
3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)
4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
