My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily is a beautiful, high-spirited pup with a smile that stretches from ear to ear. This silly, happy girl is full of personality and knows how to brighten every room she walks into. If you’re looking for a dog who’s always ready for fun, Lily is your perfect match!
She absolutely loves to play in the water, chase after her favorite balls, and go on adventures. Whether it’s a road trip, a hike, or just a day exploring, Lily is a fantastic travel buddy who’s always eager to tag along. She’s the kind of dog who will keep you laughing with her goofy antics and then melt your heart with her affection.
Lily is very smart and thrives when she’s given activities to keep her mind and body busy. She enjoys the company of other dogs, though she can be a confident, dominant lady, so slow and proper introductions are important. Once she makes friends, she adores playing and hanging out with her buddies at the rescue. Cats, however, aren’t really her thing.
What Lily needs most is an active, loving family ready to give her the adventures she craves and the home she deserves. Adoption fee is $300.~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org. More about this rescue

Homeward Bound is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill organization based in Gilmer County, Georgia, which began in August 2000. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for unwanted companion animals, while actively seeking permanent homes through our adoption programs. We take in dogs and cats that are found as strays, owner surrenders and abandoned. We also take animals out of high kill shelters to prevent them from being euthanized. We have rescued and adopted out about 7,000 animals.
