I'll happily snooze near your feet in bed or cozy up with my head in your lap if you sit on the floor with me. I love splooting and sleeping with one leg up in the air. I'm a mellow 16-pound low-rider who gets along great with other dogs and even cats! I'm not easily bothered by much, so I would fit right into a relaxed home. At ten years old, I haven't learned to ask to go outside when it's time to do my business, but if I'm kept on a schedule, I do pretty well with the potty training. I am a little bit hard of hearing, so sometimes I don't pick up on commands, especially that funny word, "no." But don't worry, I do know when I'm being called over, and I love to trot your way, especially if you have treats! I am very enthusiastic about treats, so watch your fingers when you're handing them out! My look wouldn't be complete without my signature move: one of my ears often flips back, giving me a bit of a "caught in the wind" look. It's adorable, if I do say so myself! I don't need big adventures; a little trot here and there is just fine with me. So, if you're looking for a calm, loving buddy who will always be by your side, I might just be your perfect match. Loved Again Pets focuses on animals 6 years and older and special needs animals. We do rescue younger dogs that need our help when there is a need. Most of our animals come from high kill shelters, but we also help out with local surrenders. We are a foster based rescue and have foster homes in California and Oregon.
