This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but after a lot of reflection, I’ve realized that I’m not the best fit for Winston, and they deserve a home that can give them everything they need.
This isn’t a decision I’m making lightly. I want to find him a forever home where they will be truly cherished, where they will have the care, attention, and space to thrive. If you or someone you know would be a great fit, please reach out. My heart hurts, but I know the most loving thing I can do is put their needs first.
About this sweet boy: Winston loves long walks, frozen kong treats, pig ears, and anything that tastes remotely like peanut butter. He is the best snuggle buddy and loves looking out the window in his free time. He loves to play with other dogs at the dog park but can be a bit shy with bigger dogs. He is crate trained and potty trained. He does have some separation anxiety so someone with experience with this would be preferred, as well as his breed in general.
