My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet 3yr old, 43lb Ashley!

Ashley is a calm, sweet natured girl who is looking for her forever home. She's the perfect mix of laid-back and outdoorsy—she enjoys cozy cuddle sessions on the couch just as much as she loves long walks on the beach, and paddle boarding (seriously, she’s a beach girl at heart). She is crate trained and house trained!

Her growing list of good manners includes:
*Sitting calmly for her leash
*Waiting at doors
*A solid potty routine
*“Leave it,” “Jump up,” and “Off”
*Drinking water after walks
*Gentle with paw cleaning and brushing

Ashley gets along great with people and other dogs. She is also CAT FRIENDLY! She’d thrive in a home with a confident dog buddy to help her shine.

If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion with tons of potential, Ashley is your girl!

More about this rescue

Shy Club Rescue: A specialized rescue dedicated to often-overlooked shy dogs in shelters

At Shy Club Rescue, we embrace a heartfelt mission: to offer a nurturing refuge for shy dogs who are struggling in the shelter system. As shelter volunteers, we find ourselves often drawn to these dogs as they need a little extra time and patience to blossom. Our commitment is deep and unwavering; we provide specialized care, gentle socialization, and training tailored to the unique needs of each dog.

Our vision extends beyond mere rescue – we aim to unlock the hidden potential within each dog, fostering confidence and trust in a world that may have seemed too loud, too fast, too much. In uniting these dogs with empathetic, patient families, we ensure a future where every dog experiences the warmth of a forever home that cherishes their true nature and personality.

Shy Club Rescue is a movement to spotlight the overlooked, to uplift the underdogs, and to celebrate the moments when shy dogs find their confidence.
