My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Black Magic is pure magic! This quiet, calm, and sweet gentleman loves gentle head rubs and will bump your hand with his nose the second you stop. Before long, he’ll roll right onto his back for belly rubs, purring the whole time and making nonstop biscuits, sometimes even lifting his little butt in the air to show just how happy he is.

He’s a chill and cuddly cat who likes to take things easy at first while figuring out his surroundings, but once he’s comfortable, he’ll wiggle his entire body around your hand for as many pets as he can get. Black Magic can snuggle for as long as you can, maybe longer, and he’s always respectful and easygoing in the home.

All he asks for is a calm, cozy space with people who appreciate his gentle nature and sweet wiggles. If you’re looking for a loving companion to fill your days with quiet joy, Black Magic might just cast a spell on you. 🖤

Black Magic has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Black Magic can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
