LORRAY is a handsome, thoughtful dog with the cutest littlest ears and baby blue eyes!
He is 2 years old and nine months,
weighing 18 pounds as of August 7, 2024. We think that he is a Chihuahua/rat terrier mix! That’s our best guess!
LORRAY had an owner who thought that Lorray was better off living in the streets. So much, that he never knew what it was like to live in a home or sleep on a bed.
He survived eating off of people who fed him. We were informed about the situation and we rushed to rescue him. He was owner surrendered.
Now he is in a foster home that gives him lots of love. He loves to cuddle with his foster mom.
His foster mom would love to adopt him. She understands though that somewhere out there ~ he will find a forever home with lots of love and understanding so that she can help foster and save another life.
He is great with other dogs (currently he is in a house with others dogs and cats), so it is a joy to take him to the beach or dog park.
Lorray is a FANTASTIC and loving companion. He bonds incredibly strongly with his ‘special person’.
He enjoys being around people very much. For that reason, we think he would do better in a home with an individual who works from home or part time.
He is such an emotional boy that we think he would also do better as an only pet too.

PLEASE READ: This dog is in Puerto Rico and we will book a flight once adopted.
We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.
Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it need for fulfillment.
In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog or expected adult size of puppy. Please also note that any dog that is "house trained" will still need patience in a new home, new people and new schedule. Please be ready to house train ANY dog you adopt! Thank you for understanding.

More about this rescue
Miracles for Satos Rescue
We are an all volunteer, no-kill, not-for-profit, 501c3 rescue group.
We rescue the satos (street dogs) of Puerto Rico from the streets, kill shelters and bad situations. Satos are unfortunately in abundance and these amazing sweet spirits need our help to find permanent loving homes!
We are the voice and for those who can not help themselves!
All donations are fully tax deductible!
Our rescuers and volunteers are unpaid so that any monies can be dedicated solely to the dogs! Medical, food, supplies, spay/neuter, and maintenance of our farm/sanctuary facility in Puerto Rico, transportation costs, and training are among the many expenses we have. We try to never say "no" to any dog in need!
We and our satos are grateful to our donors and our fosters and adopters!
