My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tripp fka Charlie was adopted from DAWG and subsequently found abandoned out by Lake Texoma in mid-July. His finder has kindly been fostering him but can no longer keep him. She provided the following information: We've been calling him "Tripp" because he's been on quite a journey. In 6 weeks of fostering he has never had an accident in the house. He sleeps quietly all night. Loves all people and other dogs, but will chase cats and squirrels. He's been taught not to jump on people and to take treats nicely. Tripp is very much a puppy and has a lot of energy. He loves to run and swim. He will do well with a jogging partner. He will run beside a side-by-side or a gator forever. He is a chewer so sturdy toys are best. Playing fetch is a favorite activity along with swimming. He likes to play hard and works well with bigger dogs but he has not learned to be gentle with small dogs. Being with people is important to him. He will notify you when he needs to go out or come in. He has been sleeping on the couch with his head on a pillow. He is only destructive with his toys. Other than playing a little too rough with smaller dogs, we consider him to be a pretty perfect pup.
