Wags Rescue welcome Betty the beagle!
During one of the coldest nights of December, she was found by a Good Samaritan that kept her safe till I could run over and get her. She was in full blown heat when she arrived. That’s probably how she lost her family. We posted for a month as we knew this doll had a family and was used to living in a home. No one surfaced.
We moved on with vetting. She’s 2-3 years, 33 lbs, and a doll! We have reduced her food as vet said she’s a little “ chunky”.!
She’s spayed, utd on vetting and microchipped. She will go home with 6 mos heartworm prevention. Betty likes to be with her person and will even climb the ramp to the bed and sleep with her human. Or, she’s content in her bed beside yours.. She’s crate trained , but no need to crate her as she’s perfectly house trained. She loves to lounge near her person.’ She loves all dogs. Sometimes even runs and plays with them even though she can be very lazy!
She’s best friend material!
