My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kionu is a sweet and cuddly white and orange cat who's looking for a new home that will match how much love he has to give.

Kionu and his mom, Minerva, were abandoned together in a Rubbermaid bin at a bus shelter after their owner's circumstances changed.
Despite this rough transition Kionu has a heart full of love and is ready to share it with a family of his own.

Kionu is a big boy who's a little chunky, so he’s currently on a diet to help him shed a few pounds.
Luckily, he’s not food obsessed.
He loves a good belly rub, and he’ll roll right over to show you his tummy when you're nearby.
He's also a total cuddlebug who loves snuggling in sock drawers, pillow piles, or with you in bed during a nap.

Kionu’s very social and loves to chat with his humans, meowing to let you know he wants some attention.
You’ll often hear him meowing from another room, tricking you into coming over just to give him some pets.
He will make you come to him, he will stubbornly come to you after lots of noise.

He’s great with people and has a pretty neutral attitude toward other cats.
While Kionu might be a bit sedentary (don’t expect him to chase after toys too much!), his gentle purrs and calm demeanor make him a perfect companion for a relaxed home.

Kionu is also litter box trained and has had no issues adapting to a new litterbox.
He'd thrive in a minimal stress lifestyle, and with a good diet and lots of love and attention.
He has a slightly dry skin/dandruff but nothing that good food and regular brushing can't cure.

If you're looking for a friendly, easy-going, and affectionate cat to add to your family, Kionu might just be the perfect match for you!

Kionu would thrive in a household that is calm like him.
He hasn't shown a big interest in another cat so he could have another calm furry playmate or be the king of the castle on his own.
He doesn't seem to be too bothered by noises or action but also don't seem to be engaged by it.
