Ajax is a handsome, sweet boy with a gentle soul who just needs a little extra time to feel safe. He spent his early life in a cat colony and was always known as one of the friendlier cats there, which is why we knew he deserved a chance at an indoor life.
Since coming into rescue, Ajax has shown us that he wants to trust – he’s just still learning how. He gets along well with other cats and is very passive around them, often seeking their company for comfort. While humans can still be a little scary to him, he melts for chin scratches and gentle pets once he feels comfortable.
Ajax would thrive in a calm, patient home with no small children or rambunctious dogs. Sudden changes and loud environments overwhelm him, and he needs someone who will go at his pace. When he went to foster for a few weeks, he was incredibly sweet but so scared that he barely ate at first. With understanding and love, he will continue to blossom.
Underneath his timid exterior is a loving cat who wants to be loved just as deeply in return. If you have a quiet home and an open heart for a cat who simply needs to feel safe to show his best self, Ajax will be forever grateful. ❤️

Submit Application
Submit our initial screening application at LUCKYPAWS.ORG/ADOPT
2.
Interview
We will call you for a brief chat! We want to ensure the best fit!
3.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
We will schedule a meet and greet! We have a ton of kitties and we want to let you interact with the vast selection!
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Once you choose your new family member, Sign the contract, pay $100 adoption fee, take your new pal home!
