Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barry is almost 5 months old and close to 20lbs. We suspect he is some type of setter mix by the look and feel of his fur ( which is super soft!). He has somewhat of a boxer face but he is prob just a mix of a ton of breeds. Barry will most likely be 35-50lbs full grown.
Barry has the personality of a golden retriever. He is easy going, good natured , playful and gentle w children and other dogs. Barry sleeps all night in his crate and is fully potty trained.
When Barry isn’t spending time relaxing on the couch he enjoys long walks, zoomies w his dog friends in the yard and playing fetch w his toys.
Barry would be happiest w an active person/family. Someone who works from home preferably.
Barry is in the puppy stage where he likes to chew…. Everything. He is easily redirected but will need some time and patience to grow out of this phase.
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
