Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB April 22, 2024
Hi, I’m Elise—a quiet, gentle soul who loves cozy naps on my heated pad and snuggling up with my foster kitty friends, and my foster parents’ dog. I’m a shy girl and it takes me time to feel safe and comfortable around people, but once I do, I have a very sweet side to share and before long I will fully blossom into a beautifully social kitty!
Because of my timid nature, I do best in a calm home with at least one friendly feline companion. Having another kitty around really helps me feel more at ease and gives me the confidence to come out of my shell. I love to play blanket monster although sometimes I can be a bit too enthusiastic. I also highly enjoy long butt rubs and will never ask you to stop.
Elise would prefer a home without small children, that moves at a relaxed pace. She has been diagnosed with a chronic upper respiratory infection, likely caused by feline herpesvirus. The condition is no longer infectious, but symptoms may flare up with life changes or stress. This is easily managed by maintaining a low-stress environment, a consistent diet, and by sprinkling probiotics like FortiFlora, daily, on her food.
