It’s finally time to meet Arthur! Arthur was part of the MCM kitten crew from Penn Hills. His four brothers, step dad, and mom have all found great homes, but Arthur was a little more hesitant than the rest of his family. He had quite the attitude as a baby!
As he’s gotten a little older, Arthur has become very adventurous and a lot more social. He still doesn’t prefer pets or cuddles, but he loves to hang out and play with his foster siblings. He even follows his foster mom around the house, getting up on the couch or bed with her while she works or reads. He runs down the stairs when his foster parents gets home and likes to be a part of everything that goes on in the house - yet he stays just out of reach of being touched!
Arthur will definitely need to go to a home with an outgoing cat friend or be adopted with another social butterfly from Trash Cat! He loves to play and is great with any other cat he’s met. However, he can also be very chill and relaxed and he cuddles a lot with his foster siblings. He loves treats and wet food. He will need to go home with someone who understands that he may never be a lap cat, and it may take him several weeks or even months to settle into his new routine. For this reason, we think he would be best in a home with adults only, or older kids who won’t get their feelings hurt by his disinterest in being handled!
Arthur is about 1.5 years old. He is neutered, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Are you willing to work with a cat who needs a little extra love? Please apply to adopt Arthur today!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
