My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prince is one affectionate, special boy.....all he wants is LOVE! He was found in Kentucky - just a sweet stray boy....

We took him in, but when we tested him for leukemia it came up positive....further testing showed that he had a positive ELISA test but a negative pcr....which can indicate a regressive infection - so his immune system is actively fighting off the virus. So we are hopeful! He is on several supplements and not with any other cats, but this sweetie pie is LONELY! He wants to have his own human! We will continue to treat him and he is otherwise a very healthy boy!

If you have a place in your heart for a special boy, please reach out! He is the sweetest boy ever and a total cuddle bug. He loves to give and receive love! We will supply all supplements and cover the cost of the retest. Meanwhile he is safe with us!

Purrfect Friends, established in 2005, is a volunteer-run, nonprofit 501c3 organization. With over 5,600 cats adopted, we work to combat cat overpopulation and suffering in the Cincinnati area. There is no shortage of cats and kittens in need of homes! Our efforts include rescuing cats in need, assisting with spaying and neutering, providing high quality medical care, and supporting Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) initiatives. We Are A No Kill foster-based Rescue
We have no physical location – all of our cats live in our dedicated volunteers’ homes. We are passionate about making the best possible match for adopters and the cats and kittens in our care. Purrfect Friends has a special commitment to mom cats – when we help with kittens, we help the moms too! Members of our “No moms left behind club” are fully vetted and incorporated into our foster program until their loving homes are found.
