Gidget Joy (Gigi) is a 1 year old playful, friendly, gentle, athletic young dog with lots of energy! She is a perfect mix - we believe she has some retriever, some Pyrenees and perhaps even some hound! She is a sweet, affectionate, and goofy little pup! She is always ready for a game of throw or an exciting walk. Gigi is a great companion for active people who love the outdoors. She is super friendly and will walk right up to you and say hi! She will be your best friend in no time, and she gets along great with other dogs! She is crate-trained and house-broken.

She is a very loving dog and will make a great addition to your family. We know you'll love her as much as we do!

Gigi was dumped by her former owner, and the kind folks that found her brought her to FWFP for a new beginning!

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions finding our fur babies the most loving homes. Please do not apply if you are not serious about adopting.

We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Gigi the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age-appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses.

All our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for their transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
