This almost 4-year-old beauty came to Scruffy Paws as a feral rescue, and while she’s made amazing progress, she’s still searching for that special human who will shower her with patience, love, and plenty of cheek scratches.
Ren has been waiting for her forever home for 887+ days—she’s more than ready for a family to call her own! Since arriving at Scruffy, she has truly embraced the company of her feline friends—she’s a cat’s cat through and through. While she prefers kitty companionship over human attention, she’s learning that people aren’t so bad (especially when they come with treats and chin rubs!). A confident, people-friendly cat in the home is a must to help Ren feel safe and continue blossoming.

🐾 Obsessed with water! Whether it's watching it, playing in it, or just being near it—she’s fascinated!
🐾 Loves cozy hidey-holes, scratching posts, and perching up high to survey her kingdom.
🐾 Enjoys cheek and chin scratches but can get overstimulated, so a quiet, adults-only home is best.
🐾 Can be a little hissy at first with new cats, but she warms up with time and loves to cuddle her kitty friends.
🐾 Can be held… but only on her terms (a true independent queen!).
🐾 Has the most adorable head tilt when you talk to her—like she’s really listening to every word! 🤣
