My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Rimo, or at least that is what they are calling me. They say I am mellow yet fun loving, love to play with other dogs but also like my alone time. The vet says I am about one year old. I have been living with my foster parents (I found them in Guerrero Negro in Baja Mexico!) in their van and we go on beach walks and walks in the desert. I like running free, but I do not mind being on a leash. I sit for them to put on the leash, I try not to pull but I still have a bit to learn still. I stay really close to them when I am free and even when I wander off a bit, I know exactly where they are at all times and never go far. I am working on my immediate recall. I like being in the van and I do not mind when we go for long drives or move camp. I do like sitting somewhere in the car where I can see out the window and always end up falling asleep. I love spending my days outside moving from the sun to the shade and back to the sun. There are a lot of different dogs that come by to say hi and I let them come into the van and even steal my bones. Sometimes my foster parents give them treats. I am fine with that too as long as I get one.

We are in a house now. I think this is the first time I have been in a house. Hmmmm, I kind of like it! Now I have 5 comfortable chairs and couches to choose from to sleep and rest on. This house has a very old dog and a cat in it. I find them interesting but I know not to play with them and respect their space. Did I tell you I am totally potty trained? I surprised my foster parents the other day and barked while playing with another dog on the beach. That is really the only time I bark, when I get really excited having fun with other dogs.

I think I would do well in a home with or without other dogs. Maybe an older dog will teach me what I need to know. I would love to go to dog parks or have play time with other dogs. I would do really well with a fenced in yard or in a place without too much traffic so I could run loose. As I said, I will need some training but, I will give a lot of love and I am very handsome, or so I'm told.
