This boy is the absolute sweetest 🥰 He is so chill and smart. He’s potty pad/doggie door trained. Sleeps all night in crate/play pen. He is going to be the bestest boy for whoever his forever family is!
This just-turned-1-year-old guy is smart, playful, and full of energy. Neutered, potty trained, and an absolute dream in his crate.
Guinness is confident and independent, great with older kids (have not tried him with younger kids, but think he would be good) and learning to be gentle with our cat (he wants to play, not fight).
He’s a Pit Bull / Staffy / Doberman / Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd mix and would thrive with an active home that appreciates a dog who can play hard and nap even harder.
Guinness was found in very rough condition in a park, abandoned with his siblings and rescued by Dallas Dog - Rescue.Rehab.Reform
Five adorable young puppies left for dead but found by Uber driver who brought them to the shelter. They were so weak, emaciated, tiny and in need of emergency care. After ER and loving foster homes, they are thriving and getting the nutrition and love they need and deserve.
Adopting puppies is exciting and can be one of the most loving experiences. Puppies are young and cute, they are energetic, eager to learn, eager to please, happy, and exuberant. But it requires a significant commitment by their humans. While training puppies you need time, patience, consistency, routine and lots of love. Providing these essential elements helps them grow into well-adjusted, happy, and healthy furever companions. While we don't want to discourage anyone from adopting a puppy and want to continue to save more, we want the ones adopted to be successful in their homes. We have a large amount of resources available to help families navigate their lives with a new puppy.
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
