My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Adoption Fee WAIVED***

Meet Lana, a stunning gray female cat who's ready to steal your heart! With her soft, velvety coat and endearing personality, she's the perfect companion for anyone seeking a cat full of love and charm. Lana has a special way of showing affection-she loves to give head bumps, a sign of her deep bond with you.

Lana adores being pampered with pets and will happily purr away while you shower her with attention. While she does appreciate things being done on her own time, once she gets comfortable, she quickly warms up to new people and can't resist a good cuddle session.

If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate cat who craves attention, Lana might just be your perfect match. She's ready to find her forever home and bring endless joy to your life. Will you be the one to give her all the love she deserves?

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
