Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cheryl can be such a cuddle bug once she settles. She loves curling up beside you on the couch and has no hesitation covering you in as many kisses as she can. She has done well playing with active, larger dogs and loves having a buddy who can match her energy.
We would not recommend her for a home with cats, as she can be a bit too much for them and doesn’t quite understand just how big she is. At HSEC, Cheryl is working hard on her manners, and whoever adopts her should understand that she is a work in progress. But she is absolutely worth every bit of that effort.
Cheryl is a loving, joyful girl who is ready to blossom with the right family by her side.

More about this rescue
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
