Hello, my furiends! 👋 Say hey to our buddy Flounder, a 3.5-year-old grey tabby and one of Scruffy Paws' proud resident Foodies. This boy loves to eat — and he’s not shy about it!
Flounder came to us as a spicy older kitten over 2.5 years ago, and it’s been a joy watching him grow into the playful, confident cat he is today. He’s still bursting with energy and lives for playtime — especially feather wands and lasers. (Check out his photos to see him in action — he takes wand workouts seriously!)
Flounder is a curious cat with a Cheshire grin, known for his love of lounging in hammocks and hanging out with his shelter cat-mates. He does best with other playful, outgoing cats who match his energy. He’s not a fan of more timid, submissive cats and can sometimes overwhelm them with his big personality.
While Flounder isn’t big on being picked up or handled, he does enjoy attention — on his own terms. Once he knows and trusts you, he’ll seek out affection and isn’t shy about letting you know what he wants. (He’s got a solid voice on him when he's trying to make a point!)
We recommend a home with older kids (pre-teens and up) who understand cat behavior and can give Flounder the space and respect he needs to shine.
Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home.
