Meet Coraline – A Timid but Resilient Little Survivor
Coraline has already been through so much in her young life, but she’s a fighter. Rescued with a severe eye injury—likely from a burn—this tiny black kitten is missing one eye. While the area looks rough, the vet says no surgery is needed at this time.
Understandably, Coraline is very timid and will need a patient adopter who can help her feel safe at her own pace. With time, love, and a quiet environment, she has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
If you have a gentle heart and the patience to show Coraline that the world can be kind, she’s ready to start that journey with you. Could you be her safe place?
Coraline is vaccinated, spayed, and healthy (fiv and felv negative)
If you are interested in adopting Coraline please fill out adoption form on our website and our staff will review and reach out shortly (link to adoption form is below)

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
