My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Fritz, the athletic and funny furry friend who is sure to bring laughter and love to your home! Although Fritz can be a bit of a joker, he's always up for some good old-fashioned fun and games. He's an energetic and playful pup who would love nothing more than to have a yard to run around and play fetch. Fritz is an incredibly friendly pooch who loves to meet new people, and he's especially fond of getting lots of attention and affection. Jollyballs are one of his favorite toys! If you're interested in meeting this funny, friendly, and fun-loving pup, don't hesitate to contact us.

Fritz weighs 114 pounds and 3 years old. He is vaccinated, heartworm negative and neutered. He is curious about the foster family's cat but has respected the cat. He has not spent a lot of time with the resident dogs due to his exuberance but has not shown any negative side with them. He would benefit from some training to solidify his wonderful personality as a solid 114 pound boy. Fostered in Georgia.

Additional adoption info

The RHR adoption application is part of a multi-step process. Once we get your completed adoption application, the RHR Adoption Committee will contact your veterinarian and personal references. Meanwhile, a home visit with you and your family will be scheduled and completed before RHR can consider approval of the adoption application. Our goal is to have this process completed within 10 days. After that, a meet and greet between the dog, you, and your family must take place. The RHR Adoption Contract must be completed and approved. Payment of the adoption fee can be made via money order, cashier’s check, PayPal, Venmo, cash, or personal check, must be received by RHR before the adoption can be completed. Rottweiler Hearts Rescue reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.

More about this rescue

RHR is an all-volunteer rescue organization with seasoned rescuers who have been rescuing and placing Rottweiler dogs for many years. None of RHR’s officers, directors, or volunteers receives any salary or compensation in any manner whatsoever. Additionally, all administrative costs are kept to a minimum as every penny spent on administration is considered money taken away from the dogs.
Who area the ‘hearts’ in Rottweiler Hearts Rescue, you ask? We are five experienced Rottweiler owners and rescuer. Not one of us will hesitate to step in when needed and do what we need to do to help a dog. All the directors are extremely familiar with Rottweilers and all the traits with which they come. We firmly believe in positive reinforcement. We know there are times when you may need assistance with one of RHR's rotties. We are there for you. If we need to take the dog into one of our homes for more one-on-one training, we can do that as well.
