Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mildred is a stunning black cat with a personality as bold as her sleek, shiny coat. This curious and talkative lady always has something to say, whether she’s greeting you at the door or commenting on the day’s events. With a flair for the dramatic, she knows how to strike a pose for the camera, proving she’s always the star of the show. When she’s not demanding attention, you’ll find her perched by the window, watching the world go by with wide, observant eyes.
Though full of confidence and charm, Mildred has a sensitive side—specifically, her skin and stomach. She thrives on a special diet to keep her feeling her best, and in return, she’ll provide endless entertainment, conversation, and affection. She is also on a daily medication. Mildred could potentially transition to a regular adult food with time, and wean off the medication once in a home. If you’re looking for a charismatic, camera-ready companion with plenty of opinions, Mildred is the perfect match!
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
