My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casper – A Gentle Snowball Looking for a Patient Adopter
Meet Casper, a beautiful all-white boy who’s ready for a home of his own. He just finished an 80+ day treatment a few weeks ago for FIP, and while he's now completely healthy, he's still learning to trust people again. Because he had to be medicated for so long, Casper is very shy and may hiss when nervous—but don’t worry, he’s not aggressive, just unsure.
Casper needs a patient adopter who will give him the time and space to adjust at his own pace. With love and understanding, we know he’ll come out of his shell and show his sweet side. If you’re willing to give this special boy a chance, Casper is ready to start his next chapter—with you.
Casper is vaccinated, neutered, and healthy (fiv and felv negative)
If you are interested in adopting Casper please fill out adoption form on our website and our staff will review and reach out shortly (link to adoption form is below)

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
