Jif and Skippy are brothers, born 4/16/24. Their gentle natures mecan they should become excellent family members once they have adapted to their new homes and families, but for now they are quite shy - Skippy a bit more so than Jif.

These two are always near each other and would enjoy being adopted together, but this is not a requirement; either can be found to venture off if they find another bed that looks comfy. Both allow petting if you take your time (see videos), and are slowly improving through daily visits from different volunteer cat socializers.

While these boys may never be "ambassador cats" who run to greet your visitors at the door, they will become grateful and devoted companions for the right people. There is nothing quite like the warm and fuzzy feeling the first time a shy cat jumps up onto your bed for snuggles!

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of SHY CAT SPECIAL - $20 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
