My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roscoe!
Roscoe is a handsome cattle dog mix with a gentle heart and a loyal spirit. He may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet and affectionate personality shines through. Roscoe loves the company of other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a canine friend to play and explore with. He’s also perfectly fine with cats, making him a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household.

Roscoe is looking for a patient family who will give him the time and encouragement he needs to feel confident and secure. In return, he’ll give you a lifetime of love, companionship, and that classic cattle dog devotion. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a gentle soul, Roscoe is waiting for you!Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
