Gabby Douglas. Tony Hawk. Katy Perry in space for 11 minutes. And me, Yakko.
What do we all have in common?
We all do incredible things in the air.
It all started when I was born. Even at just a few ounces old my limber legs could soar while other kittens were still in their wobbling stages.
People quickly discovered I have a gift– the power of flight.
Most sessions with a wand toy elude a few dashes, flared whiskers, and, if lucky, a catch of the elusive toy.
Not with me.
I flip, fly, and soar in the air, leaving onlookers stunned. My agile flips in the air impress anyone and everyone.
Cirque du Soleil keeps calling. Ultimately, I keep telling them that my passion for aerial arts is second to what I dream of most: a home.
I am only a year old and had spent all my life in the shelter environment. Up until recently, I underwent my latest challenge: leaving the shelter life behind and going to a foster home.
And how that switch has truly made me shine.
I still engage in somersaultic flips during wand toy time, yet now after playtime, I recuperate my energy surrounding myself with adoring folks. I will cheerfully sit in the room with you as you work on your computer, explore the mysteries of cardboard boxes, stretch my legs during nighttime zoomies, and feast on protein-filled wet food.
I enjoy the companionship of other cats and would love a partner that can engage with me during my peaks of activity while still welcoming me for a cuddle during an athlete's much deserved nap. My bravery knows no bounds, and I even quickly acclimate to dogs in the area.
You may think that my nimbleness leads me to seek out additional trouble– and you would be incorrect. A true gymnast is sportsmanlike both on and off the tumbling mat.
At the end of the day, every true athlete can only shine thanks to the support of his or her family. I am still humbly waiting for that crucial piece to fulfill both my gameplan and my heart. So please, do me the honor of being part of "Team Yakko" and I'll promise you you'll feel like a gold medal winner.
Since I've been waiting for a home since 2/5/2025, my lucky family will receive 3 months of Revolution flea, tick, ear mite, and heartworm prevention– a $79 value!________________________________________________
