Meet Andrea (Annie) a 4-year-old Miniature Poodle recently rescued from an Amish Puppy mill! Annie has been the sweetest little addition to her foster family. She has a calm and friendly nature, making her a wonderful companion for both people and other dogs. She gets along well with her small dog foster sibling and recently met a friend’s large German Shepherd—she was curious and open to his greetings, quickly recognizing that he was no threat. As she settles in, Annie is beginning to eat more comfortably and is making great progress with house training. With frequent trips outside and positive reinforcement, she is learning where to do her business and enjoys the rewarding treats that come with it! This gentle girl is also warming up to cuddles and friendly praise, showing her affectionate side more each day. At night, she sleeps quietly in a playpen with an open crate, choosing to curl up inside her crate with a cozy blanket. Annie is a loving, adaptable pup who will make a wonderful furry friend to someone lucky enough to welcome her into their home! She is fostered in Sumner.
