Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Dexter.

Dexter is a two-year-old lab mix who weighs approximately 70 pounds. He is vaccinated, neutered, crate-trained, and house-trained.

He loves to play with toys, chew on bones, and go for car rides. His nose takes him on adventures if you allow him to lead you. Otherwise, he walks on a lead well and is used to a harness. He kennels well and is good with large and small dogs and cats. He wants to be near his humans and will sleep on the floor next to you or on the bed if you let him. He will alert if he hears someone coming to the door. Dexter loves to play in the backyard. Dexter knows to sit and is learning other commands. He is food-motivated, so training him is easy if you reward him with treats.
