My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greer is one smart puppy! Greer was rescued last winter with her sister from the Yakima area. They were born to Gertie our mama stray on the Yakima Nation where a good Samaritan reached out to us for their rescue!

Greer has now grown up in the rescue, and is doing amazingly well in a multi dog home, she plays well with others! Learning from the confident dogs in her foster home, sensitive to their cues and quickly becoming more confident by the day! She is playful outdoors and has great house manners.

Greer is a mix - primarily shepherd and pittie- we did her Embark test and can share. One thing we know - she sure is cute! Greer is likely full grown now at pounds, a nice mid-size adventure pup! Greer and is very smart and can work out most feeder puzzles on her first try!

Greer will be adopted to a home with a secure fence for safe outdoor play. She has healed from her spay and vaccinations are included in her adoption donation.

Pacific Rim Rescue will continue to support the kind people helping these abandoned dogs, and helping to fund spays and neuters to prevent more unwanted and abandoned dogs.

More about this rescue

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.

Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.

We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
