My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oliver – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Person 💚

Oliver is a 1-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix with a heart as tender as his big brown eyes. He’s a shy boy who finds the world a little overwhelming — new people, new places, even everyday noises can make him nervous. But once he trusts you, Oliver’s true self shines through: a sweet, snuggly companion who just wants to sit by your side and soak up your love.

Oliver is dog-friendly and does best in a calm home with no kids (or older, dog-savvy kids). He’s kennel trained, and because he’s a flight risk when startled, a secure fenced yard is absolutely required. He isn’t the dog you’ll take everywhere — but he is the dog who will happily curl up with you and give you the perfect excuse to skip the party and stay home together.

Oliver doesn’t need the whole world; he just needs his world — a patient, understanding family who will let him blossom at his own pace. Could that be you?
