Sawyer has had a rough start—he recently tested positive for Lyme disease, but don’t worry, he’s already been treated is feeling his best! 💙 Despite his shyness, he has the kindest soul and just needs someone who will give him the time and love to truly shine.
Sawyer is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives.
Sawyer’s Ideal Home:
- Needs a calm, patient environment to help him build confidence
- Would thrive with an adopter or foster who can take it slow and provide gentle encouragement
- Must be leash-walked or supervised in a fenced yard to ensure his safety

Please give us a few days to review your application. If approved, you’ll receive an email from adoptions@hoovesandpaws.org to schedule a meet and greet (including any necessary dog-to-dog introductions).
If the meet and greet goes well and you’d like to move forward, we’ll schedule a home check—this means we’ll bring your new furry friend to your home ourselves. This helps ensure a smooth transition and gives your new pup a familiar face upon arrival. We’ll finalize the adoption at that time!
