Don't let this grumpy face fool you! Slurpee has known some hard times, but he's never stopped hoping for better days. This resilient boy was found on the streets of Garden Grove by a kind-hearted person who noticed he wasn’t doing well. Since then, Slurpee has received the medical care he needed and is finally on the road to recovery—but he’s still missing one thing: a loving home.
Living in a shelter has been tough for Slurpee. He’s FIV+, which doesn’t stop him from living a full and happy life, but it does mean he’d thrive best in a calm, indoor environment. He can be shy when you first meet him, but with a little love, patience, gentle pets and a few Temptation treats, he starts warming up and shows you the sweet, gentle soul that he is.
Slurpee lives for brushing sessions and would absolutely love a sunny windowsill to stretch out on and watch the world go by. He’s ready for a loving home with lots of pets and the simple joy of being someone’s beloved companion.

Our adoption fee is $125 per cat or kitten.

Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support.
