Honey B joined the rescue world on February 23, 2025, after being transferred from AEC to Memphis Animal Shelter with a painful abscess on her head. Now safe and healing in a loving foster home, this gentle girl is ready for a forever family who will cherish her for the resilient sweetheart she is.

💛 Why Honey B Is So Special:
• House and kennel trained (only one accident!)
• Great with kids and respectful with cats
• Has done well with male dogs
• Loves gentle head rubs and resting her head in your lap
• Food motivated (but please hold the cat food!)
• Calm during baths and easy to handle
• Squeaky bark = pure joy

She’s short, stocky, and built for comfort—not speed. Her favorite thing in the world is being close to her people. She just discovered the couch, and now it's her favorite place to be (good luck getting her to move!).

Honey B enjoys her time outside, does her business like a pro, and politely squeaks at the door when she’s ready to come back in. She’s easygoing, affectionate, and brings a quiet happiness wherever she goes.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.
