My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zelda. You might remember her though. She came in earlier this year with her mom and siblings because `there was to many animals`. Her mom, Zayn, was tagged by rescue and her siblings were adopted out or tagged as well. Zelda found herself back at the shelter as a stray and her owner said to find her a new home. She is the perfect blend of playful energy and gentle sweetness. At just a year, she`s full of joy, curiosity, and classic Lab enthusiasm that makes your day a little brighter. Zelda is smart, eager to learn, and motivated by treats and praise, making her a good candidate for continued training. She`d thrive with an active family or someone who enjoys being outdoor adventures. If you`re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a heart as big as her smile, Zelda is your girl. Come meet her today. Adoption fee is $50 and that covers her spay, microchip and vaccinations.

More about this shelter

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
