My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stormi: Stormi is a 2-year-old mixed-breed girl who was rescued from Seminole County in February of 2025. She is a quiet, gentle soul who is still learning that people can be kind and the world can be a safe place. Stormi is very skittish and severely under-socialized, likely because she spent much of her life as a stray with little to no human contact. She has not shown any aggression—she is simply unsure and needs time to build trust. Stormi would feel most comfortable in an adult-only home or with older children who understand how to be calm, patient, and respectful of her space. She is still learning how to walk confidently on a leash, and slow, positive practice will help her gain confidence. Stormi has a low energy level and would do well in an apartment or condo. She may be house-trained, but new environments can be confusing at first, so gentle reminders and patience will help her settle in. Because Stormi can get scared easily, she is a flight risk. We recommend safety measures in the home, such as using baby gates and being extra careful with doors, to help her feel secure and prevent escapes. Stormi is looking for a peaceful, understanding home and someone who is willing to go at her pace. With patience and kindness, she has the potential to blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
