My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟 Meet Munchkin — The Tiny Boss With a Big Heart
Munchkin may be small in stature, but don’t let that fool you — this girl runs her world with confidence, charm, and a whole lot of personality. At 9 years old, she’s a seasoned sweetheart who knows exactly what (and who) she likes.

Munchkin is sweet, happy, and incredibly loving with her people. She bonds deeply and adores affection, making her a wonderful companion for someone who wants a loyal shadow by their side. She walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and has the gentle, affectionate nature that comes with maturity.

But make no mistake — Munchkin is the boss. She has one best dog friend, Deuce, and she’s made it clear that he’s her chosen companion. Other dogs? She’s not interested. Chickens? Absolutely not. She prefers her circle small and her peace protected.

This clever girl is also a fence climber, so she’ll need a secure setup or supervised outdoor time to keep her safe. Indoors, she’s easygoing, affectionate, and loves being part of the family.

✨ Munchkin’s Ideal Home
A calm, loving household

No chickens

No other dogs except her buddy Deuce (if adopted together)

Someone who appreciates a confident, quirky, affectionate senior

A secure yard or commitment to supervised outdoor time

If you’re looking for a dog with personality, loyalty, and a heart full of love, Munchkin is ready to be your tiny queen. She may be small, but she’ll fill your home with joy.

Additional adoption info

We endeavor to find the best home for each pet in our care. We do home visits on every pet, even if it can only be a virtual visit with pictures and videos from the potential adopter. Most of the time we adopt to people who live close enough for a personal home visit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility; so meet and greets with potential adopters, pets and current pets are done on an appointment bases; sometimes at the potential adopter's home, or in a neutral location.
