Coming soon to Sunny Bear Rescue, we have four absolutely sweet and lovable little girls who are sure to melt your heart—just like their ice cream-inspired names! Rocky Road, Phish Food, Moose Tracks, and S’mores are making their way to us from a kill shelter, where we’re working hard to help keep the numbers down. These girls have had a rough start, but we know they are beautiful, loving pups who deserve a second chance at life.
While we don’t know much about them yet, we do know they are Boxer and English Springer Spaniel mixes, approximately four months old. They are friendly with people, kids, and other dogs, but we’re not yet sure how they feel about cats. All four are underweight and will need some extra love and care to help them grow strong and healthy. They have short coats, no known allergies, and no bite history. As with most young rescues, we don’t yet know if they are house-trained—but we’ll learn more as soon as they arrive!
These sweet girls are not yet spayed or microchipped, but that will be included in their adoption fee to ensure they are fully ready for their forever homes. Right now, we are looking for fosters to help ease their transition and keep our overall numbers at the rescue more manageable. Fostering provides them with a calm, safe space to adjust while we get to know their personalities better.
